This house I live in came with one of those whirlpool jacuzzi tubs. It stopped working around a decade or so ago (maybe closer to 15 years?). I finally go around to fixing it. Motor was fine, just a bad air switch. I found parts which cost almost as much to ship as the part cost, but it works. Hardest part was cleaning it out. Gunk had built up inside the jets due to disuse. I ran some spa cleaner through it and then removed the jets and hand cleaned them, which was pretty nasty work. Now I've run one least tub full of water with a few cups of bleach thrown in, leak tested again and again and its all good! Here's to being able to get in tub massage again!
