The bees are finding a lot of yellow pollen today, no idea what is is, no bees in the trees here. Easily 90-100 bees per minute with pollen.

@firephoto@mastodon.social Probably dandelions.They are one of the earliest nectar sources, and people spraying poison on them is a likely cause of the beepocolypse.

@firephoto@mastodon.social I have pictures from my balcony, glass surfaces covered in pollen in early February, in Helsinki, Finland. Apparently it's peanut bushes flowering in north Africa, mediterran areas, winds blowing this way.
