There are a couple of cases where I feel PHPStan works against me as a developer. With its rules leading to worse code than I'd write otherwise. Or to clumsy workflows. This is a 0.1% case, and in general I'm very happy with it (and the discussions around my pain points have been very friendly and productive!). What I appreciate a lot is how easy it is to tell the tool to leave me alone with the things I don't think add value. It's great when tool authors understand the need to be flexible.
