Why on #earth do we pay #VAT on 2nd hand products? If I buy a used computer that cost the supplier to buy in used 200 and it is sold on to me for 300 because it was serviced or upgraded and delivered, VAT should only be due on the 100 extra, right ? Would using such a VAT regime help us support reusing things and reducing waste? This could in a democracy be achieved surely?
