I suspect the answer to this is “no” and possibly also “dear God in Heaven no, why would you even ask for that?!?”, but: is there a #web media activity API similar to the Page Lifecycle API (https://developer.chrome.com/docs/web-platform/page-lifecycle-api) (yes, I know, Not A Standard)? Not a way to play/stop/whatever various media, but a way for a page to signal “hey, I’m producing sound” or “there’s a video playing here” or similar? Possibly also signal (anonymous) information about said media?
