I’m reading and enjoying a series of books by E.H. Lupton set in alternate 1969 Madison, Wisconsin. The series is called Wisconsin Gothic and has lots of weird magic and a queer romance. It’s got dark bits in it, but what do you expect from something called Wisconsin Gothic? It’s got the feel of pre-Internet academia down pat (I grew up in that world), as well as libraries and archives. It also feels like my parents are background characters in the book (see third post in thread below). CWs in next post. 1/3
