Watching commercials from my birth year in the late 70s and it's so cringe. It honestly feels like a Tim & Eric parody.
It's so catastrophically waspy too. Crazy Eddie seems like the most sane thing, since it's so obviously satirical.
This battery commercial is showing how "tough" and "manly" the C-cell is, wanna fight about it? I get 14 minutes of dim brown light out of this bad boy. Let's fucking go.

There's no way I could go back in time and survive in the 70s or 80s. It is too critically depressing. Just not having internet would ruin me entirely. But the rest of the technology sucked ass too. And the food.
