Bad news: our main sewer line got blocked up somehow. Good news: there’s a nice easy access cover. Bad news: it was buried under snow and I didn’t know where it was. Good news: it was only buried under a small amount of snow, not the waist-high drift at the side of the house. The plumber managed to find it, and we didn't have to have him remove the toilet. Bad news: the problem started around 5pm so we have to pay after hours rates.
