Assuming it’s good to do, how do you “deadhead” lilies? Just cut the faded drying flowers off? Or cut the stem of the flower off at the base of the plant?
I planted about 30 bulbs of 3 types of lilies last November and “this is my first time.” 😊

@j258853@toot.community I just pinch off the spent flowers where they break off easily, right below the flowers. Later in the fall, I cut off the unsightly flower stems. No idea if that's the correct way. But they keep on blooming.
