  This is a summer where the windows have to stay closed overnight because of the bad air quality from smoke, causing allergy aggravation. So it also can't cool down in the house overnight. So I can't hear the birds sing in the morning (do they even sing?). And yes, I know it could be worse ...

  It's Ontario Peach Time 🍑 😋. The only problem is that all the peaches in the basket are at their best on the same day so I have to eat them all at once. It's tough but I can live with that 😊.

  Turned around in the garden to see a Black Bear inspecting flower boxes. I would have thought they were all out in the bush picking blueberries. He was in no hurry upon being discovered. Now I know who flattened some of my flowers last night.
