@laurencelawlor@mastodon.social Well, the line between satire and reality is pretty much gone in the UK as in many other countries right now. The satirical candidate is much less of a joke than the "serious" candidate who's a Nazi with no real ideas. Count Binface has been skewering both Farage and a complacent press. Most of the UK would love to see Binface defeat Farage. From the polling in Clacton that is sadly unlikely, but at least Farage has still taken a lot of damage from this farce.
