.I did not expect healing a shoulder injury would have the impact it did in my sewing.
Am suffering from an impinged shoulder. It hurts to move it in very specific ways. Treating with mild physical therapy. Already feeling loads better, my range of motion returning.
I've added a "no slouching" device to my routine to stop the underlying cause - slouching and rolling my shoulders forward while I work. My posture is improving.
But the sewing consequences:
In only a week my armscye has shifted backward. By nearly a 1/2 inch (1 cm).
The pattern block I fit 3 weeks ago needs to be cut back. The pretty little angle to hide that armpit bulge is now getting squished, when it didn't before.
Human bodies are crazy. I didn't expect this much change this fast.
