@ai6yr The fires are in the western, less populous part of the state. It's a big deal to us Nebraskans, of course, but in the overall scheme of things with the U.S. bombing Iran, issues in the Strait of Hormuz, etc., it might not rank in importance to others.

@ai6yr I have heard reports from people on the ground in Nebraska: https://bsky.app/profile/celestelabedz.bsky.social/post/3mh2wlenp3c26 And it shows up on satellite monitoring from a million miles away. But there is not enough national attention on this one.
