When we hosted students, they were just rich kids learning English at tech, or attending university. From what we'd heard - yes, hearsay - the Iranian students were likely to consider us the house keep and treat us so 😀 We had three Chinese. They were fun, actually. The first, a young teen, had culture shock and went native. Another just sat in his room eating (he was huge - we called him Hong from Kong. Hong was his first name).
