@kakape I'm curious though why the recommended approach was "palliative care" rather than euthanasia. Is it because it's a very difficult thing to do? I guess I could see that...

@Dubikan @kakape My guess would be that euthanasia requires a high bar for recommending, and a high bar for validating the method. A clinical trial of euthanasia on whales would be nigh impossible, so I would guess we don't have an approved method.
