There’s still time to register for my online Python for Visual Designers workshop for Type@Cooper @coopertype Thursdays 6.30–9.30pm US Eastern from 26 March–14 May (8 weeks). You’ll learn the basics of creative coding and how to draw and manipulate vector shapes and raster images and set type with Python code in the free MacOS application DrawBot. We’ll work with variable fonts and make some basic animations as well—and work together on some larger projects too, like this animation of @letterror Erik van Blokland’s LTR NCND, which is very definitely not Trixie.

This workshop is for beginners—no coding experience is necessary! All you need is a Mac running OS 10.9 or later, and a fast enough internet connection for Zoom meetings.
