@bestiaexmachina That i great! I was looking a long time for a tool that is able to convert voice messages to text on the device. I also use "Whisper" https://f-droid.org/packages/org.woheller69.whisper/ already for direct voice to text conversion. But it does not offer converting existing audio files. Though it has the advantage that it can be used as in input mehtod - So you should not event need to send a voice message but have you talking directly converted to text input ;-)

@bestiaexmachina nice. If you're on a Laptop/PC, SpeechNote lets you choose from a range of speech models, not only Whisper. I believe flatpak is the recommended way of installing it, thus: https://flathub.org/en/apps/net.mkiol.SpeechNote
