How do we design for safe, consensual interactions in the dating metaverse? Happy to share a pre-print of our IEEE TVCG journal paper to be presented at IEEE VR about design of consent mechanics in VR dating applications. https://dougzytko.com/research/Zytko_Chan_TVCG.pdf We conducted a participatory design study about how VR dating apps could be designed to prevent harm. Consent (how a user agrees to a specific interaction) emerged as a central theme in design concepts. Implications for social VR design more generally.
