TIL that Will Smith’s Men in Black song is just a rip-off of Patrice Rushen’s 1982 single “Forget Me Nots” and I dig everything about the original.

@jla @aslakr lol, it's not like Will Smith wrote that keyboard part (listen for it in the background). I used to work in a record store, so I know all pop music post WWII. The Patrice Rushen song charted, so it's an easy one to know.
