With massive AI bot crawlers regularly acting as if they are real visitors in website logs, how can anyone believe their stats anymore?

@stewf I do not look at logs the same way I did in 1995, when you could still make use webalizer.

@stewf I had a huge spike a month or so ago and it was all from China. Do you know what the impact of this stuff is on font licencing, in my case where the bands are visitor-based? PS. I suppose one reasonably reliable statistic is email open rates, assuming one has a mailing list...
