@kdriscoll My bigger worry is Google Books, the least enshittified search subset. I urge everyone to download any book you really need ASAP.

@kdriscoll Yeah, well, that was foolish of them. And that argument isn't even new. People were saying that even before 2004. Was that quote really written like that, as a run-sentence of comma splices? In context of a discussion about "academia"? Really? Wow.
