"‘Betrayed’: Families are dealing with dashed hopes after pivot on autism treatment" "Joyce says 5-year-old Jose Morales-Ortiz started taking leucovorin last year. The child was nonverbal before treatment, he said, but slowly improved. Joyce attributes that to the drug and said Jose can now say eight words." I would attribute this more to development than a drug. A lot of autistic kids learned to speak late in years. Also, early intervention can help a child speak sooner as well. https://edition.cnn.com/2026/03/11/health/leucovorin-autism-fda-what-to-know #actuallyautistic

@Mepurfield The FDA is a joke; it's just a drug company's front. And I don't think any politician is qualified to say anything about medicine. Finally, it is not necessary to use drugs for something that therapies do very well. My granddaughter hardly spoke, but with therapy she not only started speaking but also learned another language on her own and has very good grades in school.
