As you, @apc , might know, there are quite a lot of great anime that features unrequited love in a different ways, like Sasameki Koto, Strawberry Panic, Simoun and Cardcaptor Sakura… but I think «Bloom into You» shows this aspect in a most unusual and sophisticated manner.
For Nanami Touko, who suddenly fell in love with Koito Yuu, unrequited love doesn’t mean struggle and rejection — I’d say for both of them it ultimately means mutual trust and acceptance! Both of them didn’t quite understand romantic feelings before, but for Touko everything is changed, while Yuu still remains the same. However, Yuu still wants to catch that feeling somehow… Sounds a bit complicated, but it is what it is!

@sakasama @apc what an absolutely wonderful pull! Sayaka losing gracefully to Yuu was a great character moment in the manga (I live in declining hope for a full adaptation, one day!)
