Which XMPP client would you recommend? I bet there are multiple. Linux and Android. Whichever is needed for E2EE. I like FluffyChat for Matrix, for ref.

@foxysen@social.mootech.eu I was also thinking of getting an xmpp client. But no one I know really uses that protocol.

@foxysen@social.mootech.eu I just recently started checking out XMPP and am by no means an expert. On Android I am using Conversations and Monocles. I am really impressed with the polish Monocles has done. Its UI really looks and feels amazing to me. Beyond that, they both seem to work equally well.

@jcast@mastodon.social @foxysen@social.mootech.eu Same here! I have Dino and Gajim installed on my Bazzite laptop. I need to play around with them a bit more and see which one I will stick with. I like some things about each of them. I really wish other XMPP clients would put some time into making their UIs look nicer and a bit flashier. Most of them look so plain. Functional, but plain. Monocles really stood out to me because of how nice it looks and at least at a surface level it seems to do everything I need it to do. 👍
