He's being clever about it, trying to craft a careful "both sides" narrative about things so he can be perceived as somehow "moderate" about one of the worst things that's ever happened to technology, but he is definitely not an opponent.
I would guess he's shrewdly got quite a bit invested in the success of LLMs, though he's not going to admit it. Would you like to talk about your stock portfolio, Mr. AnilDash dot Com?

Them, and dozens of people from my bookmarks or favourites who wrote good posts arguing against slop a few times.
