The Pentagon says we have spent over $11 billion on the war against Iran. You could provide residential rehab to every willing alcoholic in the US. You could provide housing and job training for the homeless. You could build a passenger rail line. You could remediate a toxic waste dump. Shit, you buy the best and brightest from Iran and gut their missile program’s brains. Instead, we essentially wasted it, while wounding scores of our servicemembers, and degrading our defense stockpiles.
