A reminder that, as some of my friends in namespaces and identity remind me regularly -- particularly #opensource #IdM #socialmedia, #IoT or streaming system creators (Drummond, Evan, Phil, others, IYKYK): seemingly-mundane functions like unique assignment of distributed names or tokens can be craycray complex when they are #federated and must securely hyperscale.
