You’d think being given a limited scope of knowledge like a programming language would be ideal for a language model to excel at. The human element ends up proving how essential it is because writing efficient code and algorithms requires deep intuition about logic. Maybe it will eventually get there, but at 20x the footprint compared to writing the code yourself.
