The JXL loading of backgrounds in GNOME is so slow for me now that if you don't already have the dark/light background cached in memory, it janks by not updating at the same time as libadwaita apps.
This is on a brand new ThinkPad P1 Gen 8...
Clearly I'm still not a JXL fan (yet).
