speaking of phones, it's still absurd to me how smol the nokia feature phones were compared to the modern smartphone. we need more of that again. including the physical buttons tbh, that shit was peak. I bet I can still do T9, tho blackberry style was also decent and fast as hell. ..Speaking of, I really loved my small "Sony-Ericsson Xperia Pro Mk16i" (stuck on android 2.x), I feel like physically smartphones kinda peaked there, even if I get that it's much harder to waterproof it.

I wish there were more daring Android/Linux phones again instead of boring "iphone but different" takes. Give me something with - a physical keyboard, slidey if you can manage it - 2007 nokia profile/size - maybe some older Snapdragon SOC that has full mainline kernel opensource support or do something quirky to it, like dualbooting Android and Debian or whatever, or having some secondary USB-C connector that you can plug Framework-style modules into, so you can swap the camera out for example

@anthropy I really miss the optical trackpad of the late gen Blackberry. Also the pogo pin type docks, still have my last BB on a dock on my desk as clock and calendar.
