UPDATE: Hugo the raccoon, a nightly visitor to my patio, is getting an extra scoop of seed for his special day.
Edit: I managed to get a picture without scaring him. Not the greatest pic of handsome Hugo, but at least he continued dinner uninterrupted.

@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social I remember Ranger Rick and was a member way back in the day. Our raccoons might have always brought the whole family, but they were always a joy to see in any number. They loved the fruit trees. Only wished there weren't juveniles raiding the squirrel nest for a snack on a peer from another species.
