I do have a comment as it's a concept that a lot of people don't seem to understand about email.
It's called email because it's the electronic version of postal mail. It also shares many of the same security flaws.
Think about all those things you would not send through the postal mail. PII data, passwords, private information of many kinds, etc...
All those considerations also should apply to email.
True end to end encryption can mitigate some of that risk but mail AND email are both by nature, not secure.
Cybersecurity can de distilled down to these four words.
Convience means not secure
There should always be some step, some process, some gatekeeping between a person and the data.
Anything less is not worth your time.

Does this mean we can no longer trust their VPN and if so, what do you recommend as a free replacement?
