As a little kid I spent many a day after school watching Sanford & Son, as it was on either before or after Star Trek. To this day, the theme song (along with Night Court and Taxi) makes me wonder why today's theme songs ain't got no soul.
Best use of a bass harmonica, along with The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel.

The show also sparked a moment between my late wife and I. I used to call her bean (as in "human bean," from Roald Dahl's The BFG). At some point she started calling me her Bo-berry-biscuit, or just biscuit. Which was fine by me; she loved biscuits and had half a dozen shirts and hoodies from Nashville Biscuit House, one of her favorite places (only outnumbered by her Hooters gear... and her WKU apparel, of course). continued...
