Asking for help from the #retrocomputing community: anyone with real hardware wants to share pictures of their #Gopher clients showing this page ? gopher://lacra.ia.br/0/defogo/viajar-no-tempo #lacraia is a text oriented writing site for people in Brazil powered by #WriteFreely and as such also readable via Gopher. I made a post where I want to share the page above shown on various old platforms. So if you have such hardware please point your client to the link above and reply here with a picture. I would be very grateful and so happy to link to them in further edits to the page. Note the page is in Portuguese so it uses 8859-1 encoding to show Latin accents — which may or may not work on your system and it’s ok. PS: Don’t be afraid of the .ia.br in the domain name. @santi @muito_pelo Seems to work fine in Lagrange, but didn't work in Lynx. Lynx says it's using Charset: iso-8859-1 But since it shows two chars for each extended character, maybe the site IS sending in UTF-8? #gopher

@santi@gone.lema.org @muito_pelo@contra.rio.br Hi! Do you host your own #gopher server? I'm trying to find a server I can host that is (hopefully) still maintained. Everything I'm finding looks abandoned, which is sad but understandable.

@santi @muito_pelo Looks like I'm late, but anyway... Tandy 1000SX running gopherus 1.2.2 I haven't messed with any charset defaults, if it even has any. (Edit: MSDOS 5, no codepage extras loaded)
