@cwgrody@mastodon.sdf.org trump did not take that power away from the people or the power away from Congress. Congress has been offloading power onto the president that they should have held in their own hands ever since World War II. I don't understand why anybody thought that was a good idea, but apparently a lot of congressmen thought that was a good idea.
