Stumbled upon an interesting* bug(?) in Firefox macOS for this website — I happen to have the variable [wght, opsz] version of Newsreader installed. One weight it renders from my local font (with auto-opsz), the other from the remote font (fixed at 16px opsz). But why tho*

For comparison: Safari renders first line in Georgia, the fallback font (anti-fingerprinting measure prevents access to nonstandard local fonts). Chrome uses the remote font for both weights.

@db I did get nerdswiped, a little bit. Timeboxed it to when I finished my coffee. Saw contradicting font CSS, and stuff that partly overwrites other stuff. Verdict: it's a mess
