@polotek@social.polotek.net I’ve been collaborating on an open source / open science platform and I'm really worried about setup and deployment by folks who may know some python but are not engineers. It's a Rails app (fine for hosting on Heroku) with a postgres database (Heroku plugin available at free tier) but the secret sauce is in its graph database-- which requires a 3rd party SaaS and introduces a lot of complexity. Not sure how to solve for it, so I’m watching your thread to learn with you.
