For the past 36 hours or so, we've had an industrial fan drying out the inside of some moldy walls, which makes hecka noise. My husband said he was going to get out of the house after work to get away from the noise - he works at a desk right next to and facing the mold corridor. He sat outside for 5 minutes, then came back in to do computer stuff and listen to music. Now, I don't want to dog my sweetheart's taste in music, but for the first 10 minutes, I thought he was trying to pick a ringtone. "I gotta get away from the noise" = "I'm going to listen to ambient that sounds like a Nokia in a spin dryer"? I love his unique outlook.
