Orgas outside the US (especially EU orgas) have a need to move away from MS. At the same time ppl became so accustomed to AI, that not having AI at their fingertips might be a dealbreaker for them. To me this only means: KDE is no longer for the FOSS community, but aims for orgas. Gnome will be (not sure though since I havent used gnome in years) for private ppl and other modern managers (like niri *wink*) .. for the rest of the community? Not advocating for AI nativity. Just saying that I do get their reasoning, if I understood their slides correctly. EDIT PS: Please dont shoot! :ablobcatpeek:
