Yeah 100%. I keep looking at our distie accounts at work, but even with the b2b discounts they're still... pricey. I'd almost certainly be going the refurb route.

@rubenerd@bsd.network I mean the refurbs too - what little LTO7+ i've seen around are not that much cheaper :( I guess it depends how much you need to backup - but if you'd like to save an archive of a media library for instance doing it on the older LTO generations is gonna be a tonne of tapes
