I could register a business in Finland and then me joining RIPE would be legit ... 🤔
-
Post #4503751
@tubsta@social.bsdlab.au vs the LIR sponsorship process which is waaaay cheaper on RIPE. I dont even care about joining APNIC. But having an ASN and some IPV6 would be incredibly handy (but not $1800/year handy)

@tubsta@social.bsdlab.au oh I dont need to tunnel, its just something i've been tinkering with. At some point I should consider dealing with APNIC. I wish they had a LIR Sponsoring thing like with RIPE. I've only been really applying brain to IPV6 recently and its honestly not that hard to get your head around.

@tubsta@social.bsdlab.au have been doing stupid tunneling tricks and having actual ipv6 subnets to play with makes life so much easier. I'm tired of having to layer stupid nat tricks on top because trying to find a spare ipv4 subnet is like hunting unicorns. Can we all just ipv6 now already ffs.

@tubsta@social.bsdlab.au @vermaden@mastodon.bsd.cafe @Larvitz@burningboard.net and it looks like you can use VersityGW as a frontend for Garage (havent had a chance to look yet) (might look later today)

@tubsta@social.bsdlab.au @rubenerd@bsd.network yeah I've always just used SMB (especially since they started abandoning AFS). But everything else is now NFS... Frustrating
