It’s really insane that the German Chancellor, channelling his inner Protestant neoliberal, has said that “work-life balance” and a “four-day week” means that Germany can’t achieve prosperity Work till your bones turn to dust, who cares about seeing your family or friends? The Chancellor wants all Germans to do their duty to the economy and be more productive by somehow working harder, of course, of course!!!
