You don’t get to accomplish anything good in the next two years. You need to be clear-eyed about that up front. It’s not on the table, and harboring the delusion that it is will only do harm. All you get to do until 2028 is block evil. That needs to be your singular goal.

Abandon any fantasies about an affirmative legislative agenda. None of that is happening. You get to throw a wrench in the gears of a fascist meat-grinder. That’s it. Pretending you can do anything else is just turning the crank on the grinder.
