In the 4 years I've been on Mastodon, I haven't seen many other filmmakers here. (I think I'm already following the maybe 3 that are actually here.) But if this post happens to reach any other filmmakers or screenwriters, I'd love to try and forge a film community on this platform. (I don't think there is an existing one? Please correct me if I'm wrong.) Film reviewers and movie fans are great too! 🎬

@taraprice@mastodon.social I think I'm a lapsed filmmaker; last one I worked on was in 2024 (https://mastodon.social/@WTL/111964139518912896) (still in post). I do have three scripts I keep thinking about and poking at now and then that I want to get into pre-production and eventually shot. Film making is *hard* and so yet fun. Are you following the #filmmaking hashtag?
