Saturday reflections on how many times I&#39;ve seen this over the years on my rides to work. (&quot;This&quot; referring to drivers going over the island and taking out the sign.) Bad road design or bad drivers? Two of these are from the last 7 days. ////// #biketooter #portland #pdx #traffic

@timkahn@mastodon.social Hmmm. Maybe good design, if no injuries. THe argument for roundabouts is if you go straight through you still don't kill people. Might be worth doing some creative design anticipating those collisions.

@timkahn@mastodon.social What, that bike lane is my turn lane, right? / Engineering installed a protected bike lane in my town. Within TWO WEEKS most of the flexible delineators were broken. These are posts that are designed to flip down when a driver hits them. They're broken. I don't know how drivers do that.
