Here's an example. In collapsed photo #1 you can't tell that there is a link included. In photo #2 expanded - that's when you can see it. Same for any attached photos to a long enough post that gets collapsed. Can't see there are photos until you expand.
On OG no matter how long the post, you will always see the attached video and photo. (Photo #3)

@FemaleIsNotAFeeling@spinster.club Ok, I have vaguely thought for a while that there was a bug with (shortened?) YouTube links not previewing (or taking a noticeable amount of time before they do, several hours), which would explain the first two. On the third one, which browser are you using that you’re not seeing the image without hitting Read More? I’ve just tried FF, Brave and Safari and they all show the image without expanding the text, so it feels like a bug.
