@donmoyn.bsky.social I'd argue that he's probably worse than Chalabi by virtue of his birthright. People conveniently forget that the Shah still had secret police and black site torture prisons while he was Westernizing the country; when the mullahs took over, it was only a change in tone, not tactics.
