Hey everyone, let's remind Google that we want to own our phones 😀

My answer: "I want to be able to develop apps for Android and distribute them without having to have a Google account, or any account at all. Please keep Android open. Our devices, our choice of what can run on them."

@fla@mastodon.social Getting a monopoly to be less shitty is nice, but wouldn't building an alternative be much better? There is already the french /e/ OS that exists.My understanding is that there are some other Android fork to work on and build on. Thereby breaking the shitty monopoly. A Google free phone would be a thing.
