@kakape This is very concerning. I had thought that hantavirus was concentrated mainly in the Desert Southwest. But, on a cruise ship? And contagious? That seems to break the rules of how the virus behaves, unless it has evolved.

@kimlockhartga @kakape The article explains that there are many different hantaviruses and there is a type that is known for person to person infections. But only through close contact. So I guess hantaviruses have been mutating and evolving all the time, since there are so many different kinds.
