I got emboldened by my knitting success and decided to tackle my niece's crochet shawl. It starts with a magic circle and that has always defeated me. Today it felt easy. I must have levelled up my crochet skills somewhere along the way.
Anyway, enough fibre shenanigans for the day. It's been a lot and I don't want to trigger PEM. So now it's off to vegetate in front of the TV again.

This reminds me of the chat with @forestine recently about being a beginner and it being quite powerful in a way because you don't know what's supposed to be difficult. I didn't know a crochet magic circle would be tricky for me. And I sure did not know how difficult fingering yarn is to work with when I chose the pattern. But I'm doing it. It's slow. It's not the meditative work of my granny squares, but it's happening and I'm excited about it.
